For the last week Con Diarmid, near Theed, has graduated to a Scientific Society status. Yay!!!!!
What does this mean? Well it means that both entertainer buffs and doctor buffs get a bonus!
Doctor buffs get a benefit of buff strength - almost as much as a base buff! (Bases are in town too, on the outskirts by the way!)
Entertainer buffs get a benefit of duration - 3 hours!
For comparison, doc buffs at different places based on an example of a 950 buff pack strengths can give these:
Con Diarmid cantina, sci society (droid and bivoli) = 2,828
Cantina with neither Medical district or Scientific socienty status = 2,592
Theed city streets (droid and bivoli) = 2,592
Theed hospital (droid and bivoli) = 2,493
Overall just over 9% better than a crafting town and just over 13% better than an NPC hospital!
(Note percentages are due to errors within SWGemu. Sci society and ent dist should be 10% not 9 for example).
Ents give a max duration of three hours - same as ent districts and faction bases.
(Strength is still dependant on tapes and amount of flourishes in a set time as always).
So pop over to Con Diarmid - the setting for a maximised buff without the agro of going to a base!
The cantina has semi permanent buffers in a loose rota system, and three stages with numerous doc buf stations near the stage.
I have also confirmed that the bases are within the city limits, so that's the potential for max buffage on Naboo here! Remember to /register before base buffing, and to do it well inside the structure.
Don't feel that you cannot bring your own entertainer or doctor either! Plenty of room for all to benefit from.
In the upcoming weeks there will be more changes to the town. A garden area for events will be placed, four more tents for vendors to display their wares - still planty of space in Nix's Mall near the shuttle and river! - and more!!!
