1. Introduction:
Name is Ancker and I was one of the early Jedi to unlock on Awakening.
Many might know me as The Nightsister, from PVP videos, Jedi Unlock Journey thread (Sorry Devs), recieved Tips & Trick or maybe seen me sit in Diarmid Cantina (Sorry BH's).
During my time on Awakening I've mastered all the Jedi Disciplines on Ancker. (Lightsaber, Powers, Healing, Enhancment and Defense) ...
That is 76.100.000 Jedi Experience. +/- 6 Million. due to dropping Powers a couple of times. (I'm an Idiot, but dedicated )
I have spoken with many of our Jedi, both new and old, sharing experience, teaching tips & tricks, template ideas. force abilities and general knowledge.
To avoid sounding like a broken record, I thought It would be more entertaning and hopefully more educational making Video Guides and write a little about the templates.
You are more than welcome to /tell me with your questions in-game.

Please keep in mind, this is my personal guide and might not be the best or correct solutions for you, don't just follow what I say blindly.

3. Jedi Templates: Disclaimer: Templates might change, will do my best to update.
Awakening is harder than most standard servers, both in PVP and PVE. Templates will reflect that.
Building a template on Awakening, you have 250 points, however when 'The Village' get implemented, 24 points will have to go to Force Sensitive skills. Plan accordingly.
Standard Foundation Template:
- Master Lightsaber, Healing 4xx4 and Enhancment xxx2: (159 spend | 91 left)
- This foundation offers great amount of Damage, Utilities, Survivability and Sustainability. plenty of leftover points to play with.
Master Lightsaber offers damage, survivability and utility. AOE states applier (Dizzy, Blind and Stun), ranged knockdown, lower posture attack with bleed, specific pool attacks (Health, Action, Mind) and very Force efficient with good Crystals/Pearls.
Main defense will come from Lightsaber Toughness (55% Melee reduction, Including Lightsaber), Saber Block (85% Chance to block ranged attacks) and State Stacking (Dizzy, Blind and Stun)
Healing 4xx4 offers survivability and utility. /HealAllSelf2 heals 1500 across all HAM pools, critical for almost all templates. /HealStateSelf cleanses states (Dizzy, Blind, Stun, Intimidate) critical to remove blind and intimidate to kill some pvp targets. /forceCure Poison/Disease, can be critical against strong Combat Medics and PVE mobs)
Enhancment xxx2 offers sustainability and utility. /ChannelForce converts HAM into Force, combined with /HealSelfAll force will be easily obtained. Without /ChannelForce sustaining the force bar is almost impossible, and a long battle will leave you dead. /forceAbsorb converts incoming force attacks damage into your force bar, good to have, but not many Powers Jedi (me)
- This foundation offers great amount of Damage, Utilities, Survivability and Sustainability. plenty of leftover points to play with.
4. Jedi Disciplines: Disclaimer: Abilities might change, will do my best to update.
Master Lightsaber:
- Will update soon...
Caution: Powers Discipline are undergoing many changes to become an alternative to Lightsaber Discipline. Info may change in the future.
- Lightning: 3xxx | (Ability)
- Power Jedi strongest attack in both PVE and PVP.
Hard for Non-Jedi enemies to defende against.
Will have a high chance of applying Dizzy.
Compare to Lightsaber, Powers will find it very hard to do High End PVE and Long PVP fights due to high force cost and limited pool attacks.
Intimidate (Reduction Food) is a Powers Jedi worst nightmare, we wont have enough Force to eleminate a time consuming enemy.
- Cone AOE Lightning.
Great addition for Power Jedi to eliminate many enemies at once. Combined with FR1, FR2 and FR3, makes it very easy to kite enemies.
Grouping a ton of enemies together and /LightningCone them, is the most Force effecient way to use Lightning Cone.
- Attacks the enemy with a Choke that does damage over time.
Currently Choke is very underpowered, barely able to outdamage a buffed players passive regeneration.
Choke also has an Insane heavy Force cost and miss/resist very frequently.
Will Update when Choke gets to a better stage.
- Curently an underpowered ability shadowed by Lightning.
Only works on Humanoids and Creatures.
- Same as Mind Blast, Currently being overruled by Lightning.
- Force Knockdown is probably one of the best overall utility ability Power has access to.
100% chance to knockdown your target and Knockdown 3 will apply a Dizzy state while Knocking down, making it very easy to land Dizzy KD combo.
However, the long delay from Force Knockdown also makes it a very easy ability to counter, by doing the Dizzy Dance (Video Guide)
-Force Knockdown 1 Single target Knockdown.
-Force Knockdown 2 Cone Knockdown.
-Force Knockdown 3 AOE Knockdown (around the player) and apply Dizzy State
- Gives you the ability to lower the HAM of an enemy.
Strong PVP ability, Players will have less HAM to heal and bring them closer to Oneshot.
Weak PVE ability, NPCs and Creatures dont regenerate or heal like players, making it more beneficial to use Lightning instead.
- Gives you the ability to Intimidate enemies, giving them a 66% damage reduction.
Incredible powerful ability, but comes with a heavy force cost, making it very difficult to maintain over long fights.
Force Intimidate 1 & 2 can be stacked with Brawler Intimidate 1 & 2. (4 x Intimidate) Cannot be resisted by "Defense vs Intimidate".
- Ability currently seems to have no effect. (Needs more testing)

- Power Jedi strongest attack in both PVE and PVP.
- Heal All, Health/Action/Mind Self: 4xxx | (Ability)
- Gives you the abillity to heal your HAM bar, crucial for surviving and sustaining as Jedi.
HealAll (500/1500 healing) All pools, Heal Health/Action/Mind (500/1500 healing), Heals individual pools.
Force cost is slightly higher using HealAll, compare to healing each pool individual.
Use HealAll over individual in pressured combat situations to decrease the amount of time spending healing.
Most of a Jedi defense comes from damage reduction, meaning without a heal, it's just a matter of time before dying.
Healing is mandatory abilities to have.
- Probably one of the best defensive abilities in the game.
It allows you to heal yourself up to 100%, no matter of your current HAM.
Removes a high amount of Wounds, Battle Fatigue, Poison, Disease, Bleeds, States and as a bonus: Fire.
Force cost is very low compare to other Master abilties.
Since we're able to cast defensive force powers while knocked down, this makes you very hard to kill.
- A downgraded version of Total Heal All for allies.
Heals 1000 HAM, Removes 250 Wounds, Battle Fatigue, Poison, Disease, Bleeds and States.
- Heal Wounds and remove Battle Fatigue is a very nice ability to have, but not something to pick over many other abillities.
Wound healing is good to keep your HAM Buffer pools at peak.
However wounds will only decrease to your max un-buffed HAM.
Meaning if you have 500 Health unbuffed and 4000 Health Buffed, only a total of 500 Health Wounds can be inflicted.
Battle Fatigue has very little affect on Jedi.
The chance you visit an Entertainer before the Battle Fatigue gets to 1000 is very likly.
- Heal States cures (Dizzy, Stun, Blind and Intimidate). Almost as mandatory as Heal All.
Fighting enemies that can stack Blind and Intimidate, will make it very hard to put any pressure out. (Reduced Accuracy and Damage)
Caught in a Dizzy + Knockdown, can also be a killer (Check Video guide "Dizzy Dance").
Curing Dizzy might not be enough, if many enemies keeps stacking you with Dizzy.
Being able to cure Poison and Disease is needed against strong Combat Medics and some PVE mobs.
Cure Bleeding is not something to go for specifically. Bleeds are not very strong at this time.
- Abilities that work almost identical as listed above, but to be used on allies.
- Gives you the abillity to heal your HAM bar, crucial for surviving and sustaining as Jedi.
- Force Run: Master + 4xxx | (Ability) 2 min. Run Speed.
- Amazing Survival and Utility abillity.
When you're being hunted, need a quick getaway, need to close a gap or just want to roam the planet in a 'flash'.
-Force Run 1 is a slightly slower version of Burst Run. Offers Terrain Negotiation and 0% damage reduction.
-Force Run 2 is a mix between FR1 and FR3. Offers Terrain Negotiation and medium % damage reduction.
-Force Run 3 is a slightly faster version of a swoop speeder. Offers Terrain Negotiation and high % damage reduction.
- Increase your Attack Speed. (only works with Lightsaber and non-Jedi weapons)
Using this ability increases your Combat Haste, making even the slowest attacks fast.
Amazing Utility for new Jedi, who are still working on their Lightsaber Boxes.
-Force Speed 1 increases Combat Haste to almost 100%.
-Force Speed 2 increases Combat Haste to almost 100%
- Surrounds you with a shield that absorbs incoming attacks and converts the damage into your force pool.
The damage will still be suffered, but your force pool will be replenshied acoordingly.
Force Absorb is a great counter against Powers and good addition to some high end mobs.
- Surrounds you in a shield that reflect incoming force attacks.
The damage reflected will be spread out over the enemies 3 HAM pools.
Great counter against Power Jedi.
-Force Feedback 1 reflect a medium amount of force damage.
-Force Feedback 2 reflect a high amount of force damage.
- Surrounds you with a protective shield that decrease incoming Force attacks.
Another great counter against Powers and some High end Mobs.
-Force Shield 1 decreases incoming force damage with 25%.
-Force Shield 2 decreases incoming force damage with 45%.
- Surrounds you with a protective shield that decrease incoming Non-Force attacks.
Force Armor is a huge Survival boost, the downside is it drains your Force with the amount absorbed.
-Force Armor 1 decreases incoming damage by 25%. Drains 0.5 F per 1 damage absorbed.
-Force Armor 2 decreases incoming damage by 45%. Drains 0.3 F per 1 damage absorbed.
- Gives you the possibility to Transfer/Drain, Allies/Enemies Force.
Great Utility in PVP and against some high end mobs.
-Transfer Force takes a small amount of force from your force pool and transfers to an ally.
-Drain Force takes a small amount of force from the enemy and transfers to your own force pool.
- One of the mandatory abilities for a Jedi to maintain their force pool and last extended battles.
Combined with full Doctor/Entertainer buffs, you will have the possibility to replenish your force at will.
Using Force Channel lowers your HAM pools with a small amount for a short period of time.
Over time your HAM pools will return to normal, but if continuous Force Channels is used, it will lower you HAM down to dangerous low numbers.
- Meditate your force pool back at an accelerated speed.
Can only be used Out-of-Combat and your states has to be cleared before able to meditate.
At this time Force Channel is a quicker way of getting Force back, but at a temporary decrease HAM pool.
-Force Meditate multiplies your Force Regeneration with x3.
- Gives you a temporary buff that increases the resist chance.
Force Resist does not add up with 'Defense vs ...' but is instead checked in a separately roll.
-Force Resists adds +25 to the listed resists.
- Allows you to Revive yourself from an Incapacitated state.
The XP penalty from cloning is reduced when using this ability. (BH XP penalty is not avoidable)
- Amazing Survival and Utility abillity.
- Avoid Incapacitation: Master | (Ability) 30 sec. Immortality.
- Makes you unable to be incapacitated for the duration. Very heavy force cost. Stackable, just before your first 'Avoid Incapacitation' expires, stack a new ontop to keep you from dying.
You will only die as Master Defense, if caught at a bad time by Bounty Hunter trap or running out of force. Very strong PVP ability.
Downside of Master Defense is you will lack a lot of Utility or Damage, due to spending many points outside the standard template.
- Gives you % Damage Reduction against all damage types, both Melee and Ranged (except Lightsaber).
Incredible survival in both PVP and PVE, combined with Master Defender being very hard to hit, when you finally get hit, the damage will be heavly reduced.
Master Defender is one of the few disciplines that can survive a heavy LLC, Flamethrower and Bomb Droids with ease.
- Makes you harder to be hit with Melee, Ranged and Force attacks. your enemeies Accuracy will be rolled against your Defense.
Master Defender makes you nearly impossible to hit when fighting low/mid accuracy targets.
Accuracy Capped Bounty Hunters will still be able to hit you very often, but not as much as Non-Master Defender. Beware: The Stun State also lowers your overall defenses.
- Gives you a % chance to resist states effects (Dizzy, Blind, Stun and Intimidate).
Jedi State Defense does not stack with regular CA/AA (Defense vs X) instead they roll their checks seperately.
Passive defense and defintely a plus to have, but don't neglect Force Healer xxx4 (/HealStatesSelf) completely.
Enemies will sometimes spams thieir states debuffer, and you will be affected at some point, and being able to remove them, is stronger than resisting sometimes.
- Makes you unable to be incapacitated for the duration. Very heavy force cost. Stackable, just before your first 'Avoid Incapacitation' expires, stack a new ontop to keep you from dying.

BETA, Might be to much work or go against the developers vision.
Developers wants us to test and discover Jedi Abilities between eachother and provides limited information with changes in the patch notes.
I believe we can boost the finetuning of Awakenings PVE & PVP further with even more information.
