Hello folks, I'm new to the EMU scene, my name is Daelkyr Lystor I'm a human Marksman/Scout. Currently running around Bestine trying to remember how to do everything. I played a long long time ago in a different galaxy far away.

If anyone sees this, I'm curious are player cities a big thing? It seems a little deserted here or there, and nothing really on the Bazaar (I made the mistake of selecting Marksman first, scout second so I missed out on the crafting tool). Hope to see you guys on and around soon! I'm so giddy to start up again!

Welcome to Awakening, Daelkyr. Yes, most player cities tend to be more active due to the benefits they have for players. Introduce yourself in /general chat and I'm sure you'll find plenty of people willing to help find your way around.

Hi Daelkyr,

Pretty new myself! Did exact same thing when I started.

Few things you can do to make life easier:

1). There are buffers right outside all major starports. Use them and you can run missions to get enough credits to get going again.
2). You can have more than one character logged in at once. So make a 2nd character, ie, artisan with that crafting tool & perhaps medic as a 2nd skill.
3). From there you should be OK, it's a littler tougher getting going early on with less people but all the more satisfying once you do.

Also people like Absinthe in Bedrock are super helpful in terms of getting some basic things to get going again. Feel free to holler at me in-game as well if you have questions. Lord knows I still have them too.

Thanks to both of you! I'll definitely add you guys when I get back on. Sadly I'm headed to work when now all I want to do is play this haha! Nice to know I can multilog and play 2 characters!

Welcome home! Glad you found the server. It is really the most supportive group of folks out there. Just note that most of the NPC cities, save Mos Eisley, are pretty just used as transit. The action is at player cities around the galaxy. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, The Journeymen <TJM> are always willing to assist. We look forward to seeing you in game. We are always looking for good folks to enjoy the game with. We are Imp/Neutral.

Swing by Bedrock and see Absinthe. She has newbie starter kits. food, drink, backpack, etc...

You will really enjoy the server. Folks are helpful, and want to have fun. This server is a little harder than others, but it is balanced and fun. Check out the player cities. There are vendors all over the place. Bedrock kind of caters to the newbie crowd. Lots of starter weapons in vendors, foods, armors, etc...

Come check us out in Bedrock (Scientific Society) and Mos Crumpit (Industrial Society), Tatooine. We have all the basic profession trainers, buffs, vendors, etc... AND the most beautiful location on Tatooine! Come get your grind on!

Yes I agree to what Kind told you.
Been trying to get him around and teach the man a few things...but sadly due to my absence I hope he survived out there to be able to give you some hints and ideas to make a coin.
Hit me up during the next week if you see me around when I'm back in Sweden. ^_^
