Server Wipe Inquiry

Hello, I tried to browse through the channels and didn't see any similar questions. I used to play years ago and myself and a few friends are interested in coming back. However, we were concerned on if the current server status was permanent with just future updates scheduled? Or if there were any future wipes scheduled. I only ask because if we're going to jump in and bank thousands of hours of time into the game like we originally did, we'd not want it to be wasted just to start over. Could someone please advise on this? Thank you in advance for your response.

That’s one of many great things about this server. It’s been operating for 3.5 years and no wipes. Due to some bad emu code and minor database issues there were some small rollbacks, but nothing ridiculous. Out of all the servers that have been active for 2 years or longer only two have never wiped. Awakening is one of those. It may be more of a challenge and most times a bigger timesink, but it’s worth it. I hope you enjoy it here and stick around for a long time. The staff is incredible and the community is the best around. Have fun!
