With publish 9 behind us we intend to push updates out on a more frequent basis. These will likely include a mix improvements and bug fixes. Feel free to comment on any of the items listed in this thread but please keep in mind:
  1. Features added to the test server are not guaranteed to make it to live
  2. Posts may be removed from this thread periodically when the original post is updated
  3. Any posts that are not related to the listed features will be deleted.

Artisan
  • Action cost for resource sampling has been adjusted
  • Surveying maximum range has been increased to 1024m
Entertainer
  • Action costs for performing and flourishing have been adjusted
Scout
  • Camps now allow entertainer buffs to be applied
  • Battle fatigue can now be healed in camps
Bounty Hunter
  • Fixed a bug in which unguilded hunters were unable to take player bounty missions for unguilded jedi
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a server crash when certain traps were used during a player bounty mission
  • Fixed an issue that could potentially grant a higher trapping skill than intended to master bounty hunters
  • Fixed an issue that allowed jedi to bypass the snare effect of traps
Carbineer
  • Speed skill modifiers granted through training has been increased
Combat Medic
  • Poison and disease DOTs now honor the PvP damage reduction
  • Damage multiplier has been added to the PvP damage reduction calculation for master combat medics
Creature Handler
  • Creature handlers can now summon a pet while in combat
  • Each level of Creature Management skill trained will reduce the pet call timer by 20%
  • Master Creature Handlers are able to call pets instantly
Image Designer
  • Stat migrations can now be performed in theaters, including those in player cities
Merchant
  • An option has been added to vendors that allows the relisting of expired sale items. Requires novice skill.
Pikeman
  • Speed skill modifiers granted through training has been increased
Politician
  • Corrected an issue that resulted in removal/addition of the entire citizenship after each reset for some cities
  • City decorations can now be placed again after being picked up
  • The treasury will get a percentage of the relisting fee when merchants use the relist function on vendors within the borders of a player city
Ranger
  • Camps now allow entertainer buffs to be applied
  • Battle fatigue can now be healed in camps
  • The high tech field base now includes a mission terminal
Jedi
  • Jedi will lose xp upon cloning as intended**
  • Jedi will no longer lose double the xp intended when their bounty reward is claimed**
  • Small amounts of FRS experience can be gained from some PvE kills
  • Same faction bounty hunters with a jedi player's mission are now considered valid FRS battles
GCW
  • Rebel recruiters now offer a counter to the Imperial AT-ST
  • Recruiters no longer offer faction scanners
PvE
  • Difficulty of Kiin'Dray has been raised to be more in line with other bosses
  • Augwynne Djo has returned to lead the Singing Mountain Clan
  • Fixed the HAM bar issue that was affecting Giant Dune Kimogilas
  • Creatures and NPCs will now have an FRS experience value assigned where appropriate instead of using the creature level/base xp formula
Loot
  • Loot kit parts will once again drop with a junk item value**
  • Blacksun Razor Knuckler Schematics should now drop in the DWB again
Vendors/Bazaar
  • Max listing price increased for bazaar sales
  • Number of items that can be listed on the bazaar has been increased
  • Expiration time for bazaar listings has been extended to 14 days
Misc.
  • Safety deposit box can be accessed from any bank terminal in the galaxy
  • Aurilian plant will no longer show as dead when it is really alive
  • Decreased the interval for veteran rewards from 360 days to 90 days after a player reaches the 1080 mark
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a server crash when sending a droid out for structure maintenance
  • Enhancement droids have replaced the outdated terminals for providing basic medical procedures

Hopefully the action based costs will be adjusted down... ;)

Camps still won't heal Battle Fatigue if I understand correctly?

They weren't but are now :)

That is a simple change that makes sense to implement along side of the other scout/ranger changes. Thanks for pointing it out Peleliu.

Loving that Rangers will once again have a purpose in groups other than just harvesting the kills. Thanks for working on the buffs and BF heals being applied in camps! And adding a mission terminal in the big camps......woot!

This is great! Thank you so much Devs, really appreciate all your efforts.

If I may, I feel as if regardless of the BH's faction, if he/she has a player Jedi's mission, they should yield Force Rank upon death.

In the future, would it be possible to create a thread to discuss BH's obtaining something besides credits and pvp rating upon killing a player Jedi?

We have a place for players to start those threads already at viewforum.php?f=41. Many of the changes we are considering and those that are being implemented originated from player comments/threads/discussions. I'd like to see more activity in that sub-forum so we always have a pool of items to help us keep Awakening moving forward.

On the 1024 Survey Range...How is this being implemented?
We used to have this but then the skill bonus on tapes and food were ...nullified?...Due to the range being reduced.
So now we have it back.
Is it just unlocked at Surveying IV?
Or do you have to tape/food even at Master Artisan to hit the max range as in the past prior to the Pub. 8 changes where the range was reduced to 512.

This effectively made tapes and food useless for surveying. Are we basically resetting to pre-pub 8 changes.

Scenario: I have a char with only surveying 4. In the past I could tape him up and hit 1024 range. Post Pub 8 he could only hit 512. Now with these new changes described here , if i take off any tapes/buffs will that char with survey 4 have 1024 range or will need to be "buffed"?

This change has been implemented on the live play server for quite some time. During the pub 8 update there was a hard cap of 512m put on surveying range. That cap was increased to 1024m shortly after our pub 9 update but you will not be able to hit that range simply by training Surveying.

How is this range possible?
I have (4) Master Artisans; none can get beyond (384m) w/ (+9 Chandad).

Survey tapes or fs survey get you to 1024 range.
