BH/CH thoughts

Hi

I know this might be a very stupid question but just wanted to hear your opinion on the matter. I always loved the Bounty hunter class, but I also love the idea of having pets as a creature handler. Now I know that CH is kinda broken and not very usefull at all, but still just wanted to know if these templates would manage to do some ok dmg and survivability for late game content/ bh missions (excluding jedi hunts as I would probably not even do a dent in their robe with MCH).

But the two templates I was thinking about was
MBH
MCH
scout 414x

or

MCH
BH 4x44
Pistoleer 3xxx (or dropping LLC for pistoleer 3x4x?)

Is Master bounty hunter the better way to go dps wise or sacrifice it for more pistol dmg?

And once again, I know MCH is not the correct way to go for anything end game but I really love the idea of having a big ass rancor fighting by my side.

MBH is a must here, if you plan on hunting player Jedi. The traps are just too good not to get. I love the idea of a CH/Bh, though.

Ahh ok So dps wise, is MBH enough? even without pistoleer or another combat profession? Thanks for replying

question about pets with Ch as a BH..say his toon is imp and he goes after a rebel jedi. can you use faction pets as well? or only if the jedi was declared? same question with general pvp?

I think Faction pets can only be used if you are overt and attacking factional. For example, I don't think you can go hunting wabbits with your ATST.

From a test done over a year ago....not sure about now...but factional pets do poke a bh if the bh is opposite faction.

The hard part about CH against jedi is keeping your pet alive. Even with pets that have LS resist, they go down fast. Once pet is dead. Your dead.

Oh, BH tef won't let you heal your own pet. Confirmed.
