Gratz on unlocking, however I believe your analysis is flawed. You could have unlocked at anytime and it is triggered by next log on or something and then the old man is delayed from the last step being completed which means it would be 3 logins before you'd know what the trigger was (or more). It's been stated on many occasions that any results could be delayed, that doesn't mean it is a gate, it means its done so you can't figure out the formula. Assumptions probably aren't good. I know people have claimed to unlock from about 90 to 250 days and several have stated they completed a profession and unlocked the next day or they visited a shrine and the old man came. Results are inconclusive. Way too many factors to say it's one thing.

I would also be interested in seeing your journeys continue as a Jedi.
Yes, I did nothing other than type "/kneel" and press the "Meditate" button.
Will do my best to keep updating with more info as I progress :)

Thanks Muney and Xtwiztedxsinzx for the warm welcome and the congrats!

Thanks very much for the congrats!

I don't know how my analysis is flawed, I might have used a wrong word "Time Gate".
What I meant was, I was held back by a Time Factor and not by skill progression or in-game achievement.

I'm not sure what you mean about the whole delayed factor thing you mentioned, so will try to explain why I think it is a Time Factor.

I stopped playing many months ago and haven't done anything that could progress my character other than logging in a check my status. (I logged in tons of times after my last progression months ago)
Up until recently I have gotten the same 6/7 message, and yesterday I got 7/7. So unless my progression trigger has been delayed a few months, I strongly believe the last step is a Time Factor.
I have other theories, but will keep them to myself (They will only cause harm :) )

How do you explain all the players who unlocked much sooner and much later? You realize there are probably so many factors that it's incalculable? Everyone is trying to figure out a formula but what if there are so many factors it's impossible to figure it out? Maybe that is exactly the point.

Pretty obvious process at this point, at least until the last step. All these "journey" posts should be deleted imo. No offense to Ancker (or anyone else) but step by step Jedi guides kinda defeat the mystery.

That and Awakening made it a point to keep this a mystery. Jedi is not a simple formula.

Moving the journey threads for now. We need some mystery for those that never played and all these are starting to do is get us more nips with people saying things about time based.

One of my parting gifts was to restore this beautifully laid out guide done by Anker. As promised it has been returned to its former glory.

Thanks very much Cynar, Sorry to see you go.

This Topic brought back so many memories, totally forgot what Ancker had been through ^.^
Reading through all the claims I have made, I must have been (are) a pain in the butt for everyone :P
Want to thank everyone on Awakening, both behind the scenes and players alike, wouldn't be the same without any of you! <3

Now... Since this has been brough back, I might as well share a little project I'm working on...
Ancker has convered her Nightsister, to the Dark Side of the Force! <3

Perhaps you should look to the wisdom / teachings of the great and wise Michael Jordan. Just because you retire doesn't mean you have to STAY retired!

C'mon back and join us Cynar!
