Official Martial Arts Tournament Sign Up

Martial Arts Tournament: Opening
Buy-in = 100k, if you are interested in competing but do not have access to 100k please check out our request for a sponsor link opening up shortly.
Tournament Info:
- 16 fighters, 4 rounds, winner takes all unless a split is decided by the finalists (please note, someone must be db’d)
- Round length is 10 min, if no winner has been declared in the time granted, an additional 5 minutes will be given. If at the end of the extra 5 min there is still no winner, the choice will go to the crowd. You win by incapping your opponent 3 times in 10 min resulting in death, have less incaps than your opponent at the end of the 10/15 minute round, or have been chosen victor from the crowd.
- Each fighter will be given the following
o 1 Weapon for their profession
o 5 stim b’s
o Uniform
o 1 standard buff of 100% Mind, focus and will and 1800 buff to the rest
- Valid templates:
o Any and all combos to make your best melee build is acceptable. Nov medic at the least is advised. If you are a Doctor and want to use your own buffs that you have created, they will be applied with no outside influence ie. Droid, bivoli, town bonus, janta blood
- All fighters will have to follow the tournament event planning for showmanship. If you sign up, you will be given a package to read.

I am just going to assume that no one that signs up is planning on cheating

Prize Pool:
1.2 Million credits will be awarded to the winner. The finalists can chose to split this to a maximum of 70/30
I am in the process of setting up door prizes for the rest of the fighters but havnt decided what they are going to be.
A Lottery will be set up for everyone to participate, 30% of the proceeds will go to the City housing the event

Sponsors:
We will be looking for sponsors to advertise their guilds with recruitment booths set up and encourage advertising of this event.

I am sorry i forgot to mention that all of the weapons will be the same, so yours would be a 1 handed sword. Ill see if i can make the gaffi work

Question, Is there rules about Limiting it to one entry per person? or can you have say two fighters if you pay for both?

I haven't seen Lucyan/Alix online much lately (he's been inactive on the forums for a couple of weeks), so I'm not sure where he stands organizationally, especially with regard to the standardized supplies.

Sundari is still standing by and ready to host the tournament at any time. If there's a consensus about a day/time that works best for the participants, we can be ready to move forward with it as soon as next weekend.

On the assumption that Lucyan has temporarily or permanently left, any assistance that people can lend with regard to administration and supplies would be greatly appreciated.

In the absence of any responses for over a week, I have to assume that interest in this tournament has tapered off. Once again, if anyone is interested in moving forward with this, please contact me individually either here on the forums or in-game, and we can look at getting the ball rolling once again.
