wouldnt it be nice if the faction armor could be crafted by AS like it was on nre? the faction armor right now costs alot of grinding and with ist 30% resis isnt worth all that Trouble. ist more a rp Thing than real armor.
another Point: pls bring in the imperial Scout armor. Looks too nice to leave it out of the game, if possible craftable as well.

How it worked in the CU... first the crafter needed to switch to a faction... and then buy the schematics with faction points, think they where like 2-5 use per schematic per armor piece... three types though, battle, assault and recon armor.
Either way you had to get the FP on the crafter somehow, but at the point if was into space one could just head into space and shoot imp/rebel gunboats for 250fp a kill (not an easy fight require true skill) or have ones smuggler just giving the FP to ones own crafter to deduct the price severe to undercut the market of course.

If we do see craftable faction armor on the server, I for one would rather it didn't come with the CU armor system. I would love the different armor skins, if they had values adjusted to be usable in the pre-CU system (i.e., match a suit to Ubese, another to composite, etc).QuorTek wrote:How it worked in the CU... could be done in 2 steps:
first bring in the aditional trooper armor, same as the normal stormtrooper armor buyable for fp from the recruiter (that shouldnt be sooooo hard to or?
)
later on make all the faction armor craftable for as or as an Option u still have to buy the faction armor like now but an armorsmith can Combine them with crafted compo armor so u have the resis from the compo but the grafics from the faction armor. would that be possible?

Would be easier for it being only Master AS being able to buy the schematics off a recruiter, with the usual 3-5 time use though, also keeps the economy going and give smugglers yet another way of living by selling FP to Armor Smiths.
Would maybe keep the GCW part a bit more interesting as well as by adding content to it.... also could be cool if you have to be combatabt before the protection work as well, especially with the TEF part incoming as well. =)

Faction armor in NGE was pretty cool. one of the few things i liked about the NGE...and I mean FEW
