The Great Galactic Race!

So I did the Lok Marathon Race last night, it was long, dangerous in a few spots, but really fun. It got me thinking about how much more fun it would be if there were a bunch of people to race against. Or better yet, if there was one great race, all 6 tracks, best combined time for all 6 races gets something cool, a prize of their choice (a +25 Skill tape of their choice maybe?) and a unique badge citing their achievement, with smaller prizes and badges for the winners of individual races.

My question is: Is this something that the devs would be interested in sponsoring?

On a side note, the Fish on Naboo right now is great, and since I was out there I though a contest for the biggest fish caught my be a really cool idea as well.

Devs don't have to sponsor it for it to happen. Ask around and I'd bet you'll find parties interested in helping you/sponsoring it.

I considered doing it myself, but I doubt that I could offer anything substantial compared to what management could to attract a large enough crowd. I could sponsor with prize money or a custom suit of composite, but nothing as cool as a unique badge.

Nonetheless, I think it would be a great idea and a lot of fun, so if they choose not to assist, then I will put something up myself and see if we can make it something cool, like a weekly event with entry fees that go to the winner.

Any ideas welcome!
