Step 1: Open up SWGEmu Launchpad and go to game mods, and type in the desired FPS (if it is more than 60, go to your options.cfg in SWGEmu folder and change the refresh rate to that FPS limit) and press ok.
Step 1.2: Click on settings, then click login servers.
Step 2: Click on add and type in whatever you want for the name, then for the host, type in login.swgawakening.com and for the port, it is 44453.
Step 3: Click ok x2 and click on the right side of start to select the server.
Step 4: Press start and login!

when you say " Open up SWGEmu Launchpad" when i double click my SWG Awakening icon it launches straight to the username and password screen to log in. Am I missing/skipping a step?

Awakening doesn't use the SWGEmu launchpad anymore this topic is when they first launched I presume. The current default in Awakening is already 60 FPS.eapei wrote:when you say " Open up SWGEmu Launchpad" when i double click my SWG Awakening icon it launches straight to the username and password screen to log in. Just keep using the Awakening Icon. If you need to change any other options such as sound, resolution and other setup options you need to use the "awakening.config" file in awakening folder, just run and it will bring game setup options menu.

I'd like to add that to go above 60fps on awakening I had to use the swgemu launchpad. I play at 144fps, I had to disable v-sync (allow tearing), and play swg in fullscreen (not borderless window).
**edit**
Nevermind you dont have to disable v-sync, I found out my options cfg still said 60hz and once I changed it to 144hz and enabled v-sync I was still able to pull 144fps. I also have a freesync monitor with it enabled, but I don't think it has any effect because I have 4gpus and I dont think there is driver support for freesync multi-gpu systems yet.

To my knowledge, that is not the case, but I will verify.Veaseomat

You should not be using the swgemu launchpad to run Awakening, client crashes are a possible result.

I run 75+ fps using the old awakening launcher.
