Pet Factions/ So Can't heal?

I was in a solo group, on Dathomir with my pets. I got a couple bull rancor missions. I have NO faction ranking (imperial or rebel) pulled out a couple pets to tank/hit with me and they died (part of my reason for this was to get them poisoned up to heal so my entertainer gets healing points) when I get back with quite a few of my pets in various diseased states I pull one out to heal it and it tells me "it would be unwise to help such a patient"... I have no clue how they could have gotten possible faction nor how to get rid of it as I have no faction rating at all. so now I sit with no way to heal the damage on my pets and no healing xp for my entertainer because all I get is it would be unwise to help such a patient and it won't let me heal. HOW did they get faction when all we did was kill a few bull rancor and get diseased? Has anyone else come across this issue? what do I do to fix it?

ok so I logged out for the night... came back this morning hoping to be able to heal my own pets.. Still getting the "it would be unwise to help such a patient" message... the only time I ever saw this message was when in Live and I was a rebel doctor and tried to heal any imperial that was the message one got... a CH should NOT be getting that message about her pets .. especially when she is neither imperial nor rebel.. they are her pets she should always have access to healing them ... how do I fix this?

This is happening to me too: i have just reached novice CH on a character that's 4 days old, so my pets are all still babies and have only ever hit a couple of rockmites to test their commands. Yet, when i try to heal any of them i just get that same message. Has anyone got any idea on what's happening?

All I know is that it started just after yesterdays update ... a few days ago did not have this issue

Try being "on Leave" see if that helps. It might have to do with an alignment error.

I'm not factionally aligned so there is no way to go on leave

This is supremely disheartening! I'm not quite CH to yet but I'm becoming more discouraged the closer I get. Have we had any dev acknowledgement yet?

Fix should be going in on next scheduled server restart. We do pay attention to this stuff. Our devs have this nasty habit of liking to spend time with their families during the holidays. It tends to slow down things like bug fixes and new features. That and it probably didn't help they all went to watch episode 7 everyday for 2 weeks straight.
