Is def Stacker viable on this server?

Anyone know if def vs int works?

Stackers are very viable for soloing relatively high end content. Most all go Master Swords, of course, mixed with 4440 Fencer, maybe some TK if you like its defenses, maybe some Pike, maybe some pistols... and maybe even some Medic. There are lots of options, all of them pretty solid, in my experience. (I'm on my second stacker... I couldn't do without one after having to give up on my main for the Jedi grind.)

As far as I've ever heard, Def v Intim works. I recently put a +5 or so tape on some gloves and, maybe I'm just having a placebo effect, but I swear Jantas, Krayts, Force Crystal Hunters, and various sisters are having a much harder time landing intims on me.

Since I typically play odd and/or late hours I've had stackers of basically every template out of necessity and have soloed most content so far. It's certainly possible, if quite a bit slower compared to grouping.

My current melee stacker is something like MBrawler/MSwords/Fencer2440/TK0304/Medic2040. Either that or Fencer0440/Medic4040, not positive because i'm at work. I would recommend getting 0040 Medic for Stim E's and 2040 is great because of the bleed heal but its not needed for a lot of content. For example if you're only farming Krayts with said toon, save the points and get more defense.

Since we're lucky enough to have multiple slots, you can create characters for specific tasks. Play around with it.

Have you tried that build against the highend tusken raiders?(Witchdoctors, Executioners, King) I was wanted to try and knock out a few of the highend mobs with my jedi wannabe and sense I already have M.Swords/M.Fencer I figured I can drop some fencer, finish TKM and start the killing.

I haven't soloed them but I have done the entire tusken fort a few times with close to if not the exact build above.
I think TKM is overrated and Fencer doesn't have the damage that Swords does.

Yeah I was only picking up TKM for my unlock/defense and I already had fencer for the grind so I figured I could keep those for the melee/ranged def. Swords/Rifles are the king of the pve dps world.

I've put close to +20 Def v Intim on my stacker, and it works beautifully. Sure, they slip through here and there, but it's very rare now... almost random. NS Protectors, Spell Weavers, SMC Guardians, etc consistently fail to intimidate. It's awesome, one of the best choices I think I've made for my tank.

20 points extra or 20 points total? If you only have 20 points then you should be getting int'd as if you didn't have any points. It should only become really effective at like 75-90 points def vs int.

I've added 18, bringing my total up to 58. Like I said, works beautifully. Black Suns, all witches under elders, and most other things I farm have a real pain in the ass of a time intimidating me. I'll keep popping tapes on if I find them for cheap, but I don't think 75 is when it starts becoming really effective. Of course, it depends on what you're going after, also... what's trying to intimidate you, etc.
