Is human still the best race because of armor?

I remember playing a Wook back in the day and they were pathetic in PVP.
Can you still get 90% sliced armor, thus making human the best PVP race?

If you search in the trade forums, you'll see some really nice Wookiee and Ithorian armor. It is harder to come by, though.

Relevant question also, are trandoshans handicapped as well, I think they can't wear boots or gloves right?

Makeup of the mini suit includes pants rather than boots, but otherwise operates in a similar fashion.

Yeah Trandos are better, but one stray shot to the foot and you loose most of your health, considering how sliced armor works.

Not exactly. A foot shot would decrease action bar, but wearing leggings is the same as wearing boots, which is the same as wearing legging and boots as far as protection goes. (Differences are encumbrance and armor decay.)

Server best Wookie and Comp armor can get the same stats. How much your going to pay for it is the difference.

So, when I quit playing the game... "mini suits" weren't a thing yet. So that changes everything haha sorta.
I still like my Zab. haha
