SWG Experience:I had originally heard about SWG from my dad sadly he never let me try the game myself so i had to be content with his storys of the game. I first started playing SWG near the end of the NGE, one of my uncles had let me try the game on his account. I remember being confused by the games mechanics, as it was one of my first mmo's. I remember starting as a jedi and though I never got very far I loved it all the same. I wish I could have played it sooner but I was barley old enough to play when I first started, to play it any earlier would have required me to have been born sooner. I recently started playing on basilisk and found myself love the games older mechanics, I had remembered my dad telling me of how the game originally worked and had wanted to experience it for myself. I find myself here on Awakening purely on a whim as I enjoy my experiences on basilisk so far, lets see if end up loving this game even more on this server.

Aziana, Welcome! I played on Bas for a few years. This server is a far better experience in general. No wiping, cooperative devs, no corruption in the leadership, functional jedi system... There are just too many superlatives to ignore. I hope you stay!

History: beta through CU, played just about everything, real life pulled me away, tried a little bit towards end of NGE but lost its appeal. Have seen and thought about joining a EMU for a few years, but couldn't find my disks, found a set at flea market for $20 so here I am. (and yes, I know there are otherways, but prefer to be legit).

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE) I played on Eclipse right up to NGE when another MMO that shall remain nameless took over so many of our lives. My favourite pasttime back in the time was Sharnaff hunting on my BH (hope we can still do that). I love this game, and got feels as soon as I logged in, I love how you can disappear and survey/whatever in peace, oe be part of a group doing something significant. One of my earliest memories was meeting someone at their house to buy some armor - quite surreal back then.

SWG Experience: I started playing when the game was originally released world wide. I had a Master Dancer and was working on a Tera Kasi Warrior, and SO CLOSE to becoming force sensitive before they decided to make the game more like WoW and forced us into character classes. I tried sticking it out, but when they made the Entertainer class basically useless I stopped playing. I am BEYOND excited to find that this server exists! I've been playing for 4 days now and already got two of my friends who previously never played SWG to start.

I played from launch to Pre-NGE under same name, I was top WS on Kauri server for the guild SITH. I grinded my way with another WS friend named Mazzujazzim(Wookie), we were partners until he offered me to buy him out so he can use his skills in other professions. Few months later the NGE was launching so left for other games.

Learned of this EMU and giving a try again, no other MMO has ever come close to satisfying my gaming needs.

I am still trying to decide between Basilisk and Awakenings. I haven't seen many players on Awakenings, but I am hopeful I will stumble upon the right player city.

Played from day one of release. My mom has pre-ordered this game for me 2 years in advance! For the longest time I ran around on my Mon Cal surveying, randomly crafting what I could, that I needed when I needed it, Dying countless times to everything and using my pistol, all while never understanding how to get better but loving the game. From there I went on to have council meetings with some of the most influential players on my server, Co-Lead the largest PVP city on our server, and become one of if not the best Armorsmith (Ackbar Armor Systems <AAS>) of my server (Shadowfire-US).
It was the most gratifying sense of virtual accomplishment I had ever , or have ever felt in a game. Stopped playing due to NGE and real life . Came on and Was online in a field on Naboo, near where my city had been (Valley of War) watching fireworks shoot off when I lost connection to Star Wars servers for what I though would be the last time over 5 years ago. A old SWG friend who has been playing here told me about Awakening and I logged on. I have been ever day at least 6 hours for the past week since account creation. There is some bugs, and I hope you guys continue to improve and expand upon what your doing here. I am so grateful. I am in love again as much as I was all those 13 years ago. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I would love to see a project timeline for this server for possible JTL , or is the code lost for good? Anyways thank you so much . Great work here. Anybody want to help a serious player who is willing to devote some time and renewed vigor into this I could really use help getting started again, and you will not regret having me by your side.

(When I first played SOE SWG on launch, after they fixed all the log-in issues. I went entertainer and spent a huge amount of time in tatooine cantina buffing the newbies. Now I'm a noobie again!)

SWG Experience: All of my experience was Pre-CU. I stopped playing when SOE launched CU. It has been so long since I've played the game.. I've forgotten more than I ever learned. I'm excited to re-learn and learn new things about this server. I never really focused on Jedi or B.H. or PVP back in the day. Didn't have a computer that could handle it. Profession: Currently, Master Marksman, Novice Bounty Hunter (x34x BH atm) headed towards Master BH, and some dabbling into Teras Kasi. Still debating on if I should get trapping in Scout and maybe Smuggler for slicing terminals for extra $.

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE): I came into the game about a year or so after it launched LIVE. Instantly, I was addicted. The first profession I mastered was Teras Kasi, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Being able to go toe to toe with most creatures and NPCs and a few Rebels was highly addictive. The second profession I mastered was Commando, also enjoyed it. I had started to become Force sensitive right before CU launched, and I was grinding combat xp (at the time it was via grenades and lairs) to become a Jedi....which was a lot of fun even in the CU (though some of the professions became nonexistent which was highly disappointing at the time)...before it all went to #@%@ in the NGE. But hey, they made it all better by giving us an ELDER JEDI ROBE!!! *Sarcasm Off* I did come back on and off in the NGE but it was never the same. I almost logged back in for the final week cause they were doing some fun things with the game, but decided not to in protest. I was on Kauri server in TS (The Syndicate) guild, and was very happy with the community there. If you were in Kauri at the time (original IG name was Kithsyn), look me up IG here!

I look forward to doing some serious Bounty Hunting as this profession was the one by which I've always had the most fun with...both tracking down high level NPCs and Jedi always made the game uniquely exhilarating for me.

SWG Experience: Live pre-cu through NGE. Spent my time on the kettemoor server. Ran through the smuggler, pistoleer, teras kasi profs. Post CU time was on and off due to the game lost some of its character. I'm not really big of taking a complex game system and dumbing it down. Granted there are exceptions, but this wasn't one of them! Haha!
