SWG Experience: Great to meet everyone! I played on Starsider Pre-CU from near the start until the NGE destroyed it. I quit the day it was released. My wife and I love this game, we spent countless hours online back in those days. Admittedly, I am most excited for the future return of JTL - most of what I'm playing now is just prep for that glorious day. I'm a pilot above all else. This is an /amazing/ server. Everyone is so friendly and polite - very happy to be here.

I played from march 2004 up until somewhere in 2009 so yeah I played a lot. It really feels like homecoming to me, although through the years I forgot a lot so I'm really reliving my experience.

SWG Experience: Roomed with a friend who had beta, started opening week with five other childhood friends grinding it out on Tatooine--getting lost in the Squill's Den and running with low Terrain Negotiation to Tusken Fort (with fear). Roommate ended up with one of the first FS on Corbantis before process was known and had grinded 31 profs to get there. Protected his fledgling Jedi (Wudanio) with my Rifleman in the early days when everyone was a BH hoping to bag a rare apprentice, while we macro farmed holocrons with an ATST at DW by night.
Traded the holos for Krayt Pearls before drop was nerfed and their sheer value plus the early FS gave roommate eBay ideas. He got caught and banned by SOE one day before auction closed at bids over $3k USD for his account and we both took an indefinite break.
** Please note that he acted alone and paid the ultimate price for what was a greedy decision. I understand monetization of game property is against EULA and local server rules **
Been chasing the void left by that RPG experience ever since and not even a brief NGE renaissance, WoW, or consoles could appease.
Thirteen years later and we're dads, responsible adults. I stumbled on SWGemu article and here we are.

Great that i can play the game i enjoyed back then now thanks to peoples hard work and dedication to bring back and game that i enjoyed so much. I will admit that i have forgotten nearly everything i learnt back then so i am literally a noob again

Profession: Well, I just barely started (yesterday). So while I'm currently useless, I'll be initially working for a template I used to mob high-end critters with: TKM/MCommando/Scout1xxx(for the small bump in hill-climbing). First alt I get will be Artisan/WS/Architect because making things that go "PEW-PEW" or "THWACK" is fun. Second will be some of MCH template (miss playing with pets). And I'll eventually grind out a Jedi I'm sure.

Favorite planet to live on: So I'm conflicted. I love Naboo and/or Talus (c-net still gives me ptsd from live's lag) but I hate the floor-plans. I like Tat's floor-plans though, so I usually end up there or Lok. However, with the Must Bunkers out, and the ability to plant them anywhere I'm not sure where I'll end up other than somewhere I can find RP easily.

SWG Experience: From launch. Remember how awesome not having vehicles was? Admittedly I took a couple breaks but all in all only missed about 6-8 months until NGE happened. I rage-quit and only got drawn back to play with friends in space. At that point I wasn't touching planet-side if I could help it. Still a space-junkie, and can't wait for JTL. I don't care how out of date it is, I miss that game.

SWG Experience: Played in a guild of game friends, and my entire immediate family. I was the PvP fanatic of the bunch I holo-grinded a DJK. I did not climb the ranks really as my server had a exploited underground of jedis collaborating together for rank. I spent most of my time on my BH hunting higher end high profile jedis once I finally achieved the weapons to be able to do so. Though my guild city was a hot-spot for pesky rebels trying to take down the kings and queens of my servers imperial forces I can only think of once when they managed to actually put up a strong fight that took us a long time to repel. I participated in these fights on my jedi. The CU came and most of our once illustrious guild quit. Thus was the end of my addiction to PvP and the game.

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE):
I started SWG at launch, and quit with the NGE. My favorite time in the game was with the release of Mustafar! I am a 37M, right-handed tattoo artist, and recently had a stroke, so I am playing and typing with only my left hand atm, which sucks (if there are any one-handed keyboard layouts out there, I'd love to take a look!). I can't work for several months and decided to check out this emu of my favorite game ever. Since I type slow, I don't communicate much, so I just pretend my character is a mute, lol.

PRE/CU/NGE I played on the server Kettemoore back in the day. I started playing about 1 to 2 weeks after publish and not sure when I actually quit. I remember I had 10 accounts and about 700 million in the bank when I quit. I sure can remember the days of having a extra 150 laying around to pay for my SWG and all that extra time, was cheap entertainment. Hope everyone has a great day. Have fun!!!
