I joined Awakenings when the EMU was just getting going but never got around to logging in and playing regularly until now. I played on Kettemoor since SWG launch until the CU and then quit for a long time, then went back at the end of SWG just to experience the final days. I don't even know what server they had moved me to. LOL.
SWG was my first MMO and Pre-CU was awesome, I am really having a lot of fun with this again. Everyone I have interacted with so far have been very friendly and helpful.

I played on live for a bit. When it became jedi-central I stopped playing. I was chatting with a guild mate in WoW and he mentioned he used to play SWG. Wondering if anything was possibly resurrected on this game I did a quick google and discovered Awakenings, so here I am again.

Hey all!
I played Pre-CU / CU / NGE. I managed to finish the holocron grind, Aurillia quests, and get Padawan and about a mid-level Jedi Defender before NGE hit. At least I got the "Elder Jedi" title and bluey ghost. I played mostly on Wanderhome before the servers started consolidating, then joined Eclipse server and the Orion guild. My main character was Narra Haven.
I'm glad you found your way back to SWG. I hope you have fun here with us, the community really is great, even if I do say so myself. Feel free to join our Discord server (linked in my signature). In the Discord server you can talk with people in-game through a linked chat channel, #general-chat (once verified).
I wish you the best of luck on your journey, take it slow and make sure you don't burn yourself out on your way to Jedi mastery. There are plenty of areas of the game to fill your time.

Played the game when I was 13 or so, on Kauri. My english was pretty bad at the time though, so it was more sightseeing than playing. I made my first steps on pre-CU, then watched CU happen and most guys I hung out with left, then NGE happened and... Well, NGE.
I tried the early versions of SWGEmu, and the feels, man, the feels. So now that there's an actually playable version, and that I'm capable of playing properly, here I am.

I got heavily into the hologrind but found the game losing it's fun factor. I stopped the hologrind once I hit TKM and realized how much fun it was to go to Dath and solofarm groups of rancors.

I started playing galaxies in 2004 on the Kauri server a few months or so before CU. Played through CU and some of NGE than quit the game for years but followed emu development on and off for a long time. I can't remember exactly when I joined awakening but I think it was pretty early live, had to be back in 2014. Started feeling nostalgic lately and well here I am again!
