Medic template question

(Am posting Medic question here because the medic forum is empty)

For solo play (lairs and high-end mobs such as NS) I'd like to know whether it is better to have strong-but-less-frequent heals or less-strong-but-more-frequent heals.

I am currently 3030 and I have 11 points to spend. Would it be better to go:

4040 (for strong heals) (though I'm unclear on what the xx4x actually gives me)
3330 (for more frequent heals)
4230 (in-between)

Can anyone advise me ?

4040, xx4x puts you up to 40 med use which will allow you to use stim Ds that are crafted for such use. if you're worried about more frequent heals, injury treatment speed attachments are pretty cheap and generally available

Aren't Stim D's quite rare ? I rarely see any for sale and the quality of the ones I've seen makes them no better than good Stim C's.

Try mep's vendor in diarmid, last i checked he had good 40MU stim d's with like 1083 effectiveness

TBH id rather have speed with weaker stims

when i need to heal its normally beacuse i NEED to heal and being able to do it 2 -3 times in a fight when its needed is better than one slightly larger heal in that same ammount of time, if you have the sockets available to put speed in there then 4040 will work, for me id rather use the sockets available for something else more useful or use just use a couple of sockets on speed and do 3240

I would recommend 4040 for big heals and use food to reduce your heal time. Havla drop the CD of healing all the way down to the minimum wait time.

You can't get +USE anywhere outside of the skill trees. So it's always the best bet imo.
