HP Pavilion g4 series problems with game client

Hi everyone,

Usually I can fix this on my own but I am stumped. I'm trying to get the game client to run on my grandson's computer so we can play together. Everything works fine until I hit START, then it says that it couldn't run Direct3D. I've tried installing different copies of DirectX and Direct3D, nada. Any of you computer guys/gals know what my problem may be and how to fix it? We are currently running Windows 7, not sure if this computer can handle Windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Try matching the game resolution to your desktops, either by doing so in launcher options or changing your desktop resolution
