I know it may seem controversial and whatsoever else and it is nice to go anywhere to get whichever and whenever.

But also seem extreme in certain ways and do not get me wrong in any of it, but it could be nice if there was a limit to maybe 12 or 16 vendors to the building or maybe max 50 vendors per city or something in an attempt to spread out trade to the other end of the galaxy as well as for the current system it seem like everything is clogged together in gigantic malls here and there and everywhere.

Something like above or we need to grow up making the galaxy a better place to be at in a figure of speech.

Anyhow it is just a suggestion or maybe something to discuss, personally I can't complain about sales I am doing pretty well in that myself... be constructive and maybe add other solutions to the problems here and there... and no need to lynch me for this you gigantic Mall owners, it is nothing personal, but very much feel like that the situation is not really genuine SWG back from live, and yes I come from one of the actual populated servers back then.

I'm not necessarily opposed to some method to give people further incentive to head to more out of the way planets/cities, but I think imposing a blanket vendor limit on cities is rather heavy handed. I'd rather the method be additive to the city system rather and reductive in that you'd be eliminating the possibility of major commerce centers. Perhaps as an alternative you could limit vendors in a city but create a specialization "Commercial Center" or something along those lines that eliminated the vendor limit. That'd separate the mega cities into buffing, crafting, and commercial cities that would all have their own more distinct roles.

Would you please explain the issue you are trying to remedy with this?

The current system seems exactly like live Bria.

I'm not dismissing this outright, but I don't see any reason for this.

I also don't see a problem with how it is. Popular locations thrive with business and less popular places don't. Wal-Mart wouldn't build store 50 miles away from the shopping district, they would muscle out people from prime locations.

I think the idea is to push business to other locations to encourage folks to spread out to more of the galaxy. I am indifferent to the idea either way. I don't think you would really get the result you are looking for by implementing something like this.

But it is a start, many people on server got a merchant character unlike pre-CU live and any other eras really.. also improved vendor sear to search for items that is even in factory crates would be a good move, because that is a part of the problem as well.

Lost power writing a long response.... I'll just say

Vendor search YES

Vendor limitations to force people to spread their vendors out vs. the current system NO WAY

Hello... my two cents.

Being Mayor of NeW DeSTiNY, Turin and I have tried to built a Major shopping hub. We have brought in vendors from other cities and planets. Lesser known towns can place vendors here, where they can be easily found and shopped. People with vendors here can advertise their town and or main shops.

NeW DeSTiNY is 1k south of Cnet.
