I've always been interested in swg, and had a copy fall into my lap the other night. I was a big fan of the KOTOR franchise, so why not? I'm so happy to see that there are still people playing and improving it!

Welcome! Glad you found the server. It is really the most supportive group of folks out there. Just note that most of the NPC cities, save Mos Eisley, are pretty just used as transit. The action is at player cities around the galaxy. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, The Journeymen <TJM> are always willing to assist. Look forward to seeing you in game.

As you can see this server is all about having fun and helping each other out whenever possible.
To get the most out of SWG I definitely recommend joining a guild.
There are a lot of guild based on multiple things as you might expect. Large/small, rebel/imperiall/neutral, PvE/PvP based etc.
I am a member of CHC we are a Rebel/Neutral guild and are one of the older goods here (a lot seem to come and go or change a name with leadership).
Our city is locared on Tatoline and is called Halycon, it is a experimentation bonus city for crafters.
We are a tightly knit group of regulars that likeshe to go PvE ing together, craft and are working on getting a good PvP group together very very soonice. We have our own teamspeak although to keep the nasty imperials out.
Though I would definitely recommend looking into everything the server has to offer there are several great guilds here and I recommend looking into all of them to find the one that best fits you and your play style!
This can be a very steep learning curve for a week or two so if you need any help don't hesitate to send new an email or tell to a toon below in game!!
