I have been trying to get my comp armor to a 68% base with the obvious intention of slicing it to 90%. I know I know it's a painfully frustrating procedure!
I would like to ask if there is an AS or 2 out there that would list the resources they use to produce this. I realize it's asking for "trade secrets" but seeing the giving spirit of this community I figured I'd ask and see what people have to offer.
Also, what segment type helps get the armor up to 68%? I've tried blast and electrical but fall 1-2% points short in the final build although I do max out the middle experimentation line.
Do you need "amazing" results to get there or is just filling that line enough?
Thanks to all whether I get the info or not- this game is still fun after all the years it's been around! :)

I am pretty sure you need NS shards and armor layers, and janta hides to get those stats.

You can get 69% base with near SB mats for blast layers. Amazing results are not necessary

I'll post the mats I use for my 69% in a bit so you can get an idea

I'll just list the OQ/SR and SB rankings relative to that since those are the relevant stats for armor effectiveness

Blast Layers
Amorphous: Mova - 3rd SB, 996/890
Ferrous: Masw - 2nd SB 994/973
Intrusive: Modepuf - 1st SB 915/945
Polymer: Trigiconoo - 1st SB 982/846

Armor Segments
Poly Copper: Yokluyvuxo - 1st SB 975/786
Colat: Amarunay - 1st SB 981/700
Kiirium: Resajuwio - 1st SB 859/589

Armor Piece
Aluminum: Fefe 1st SB 968/776
Beyrillius: Kyuwrya 1st SB 876/416
Naboo Fiblerplast: Prami 2nd SB 775/799
Solid Fuel: Olulye 2nd SB 930
Wooly Hide: Poosp 1st SB 926/945
Intrusive: Modepuf 1st SB 915/945

Prioritize increasing resource quality for: Armor Piece > Armor Segment > Blast Layers

You may be able to hit 70% with absolute SB as the resources I use are a fair amount into 69% (some room for lesser resources and still hitting 69%) but I can't guarantee that and I don't *think* it would be enough.

Thank you for taking the time to provide so much info.

I see several resources that I use and a few that aren't familiar, so I guess a scavenger hunt is called for now! :)

If you are a newer AS, the odds of finding that stuff is rare. Even rarer is someone willing to sell said resources. I have been stuck with resources that only get me to 66% base without using enhancers and that is not from lack of trying.

I sit corrected on the necessary components. Thank you. Another option, is that if you are not trying to mass produce 90% armor, you may be able to purchase the resource deeds as they come up for sale, for those SB mats.

This is definitely an issue for crafting, especially AS since there are specific break points in what you can craft vs what is valued by the market. The market viability difference between being able to craft 66, 67, 68, and 69 base armor is massive despite relatively similar resources. A lot of it just comes down to being patient, always be looking for better resources (market or in spawn), and crafting what you can economically afford in order to build up a brand while you're working on making higher quality goods. I started off just making 80K armor, slowly building up my resources from a top quality of like 60% base and increasing it whenever I could until I could eventually get into more lucrative crafting. Flash to now and I can make SB of everything within what I've been interested in crafting. All just a long process

Looks like a new SB Beryllius copper? Not sure of the name but it's on Naboo at least so far.

You can also use galaxyharvester to make it a bit easier.

www.galaxyharvester.net -> select SWGAwakening -> Click Schematics -> Select Armor and go from there, great tool.

Those are the only changes since I originally posted that list. I haven't tested to see if you can hit 70 with the new aluminum yet.

You can get 69% with a few substitutions (ex: As a new AS I can basically guarantee you won't have modepuf but the intrusive from a week or so back is good enough) but 69% isn't strictly necessary for mass producing armor. 67% is the bare minimum (literally you can't slice armor to 90 base below 67) and 68 is good enough imo

What % do my segments need to be to hit 67-69%, right now I'm at 33% efficiency on my segments

It changes based on your materials for the armor itself but my segments for normal 69% are 35%. I want to say that's 35% at 92% experimentation but I'm not entirely sure off the top of my head
