I just read that I need an original copy of the game... I don't own the game anymore as it was like 2006 that I purchased it. Is it possible for someone to let me use a key? I tried to find it really cheap online and people want like 100 bucks for it and the servers for the game are dead. This would be the only place I could play. If anyone can help let me know I would love to play it again! Thanks!

The "key" code you seek is no longer applicable to any server, anymore. You need the hard disks to upload the core files on to your hard drive. Once that is done and you access the new "launcher" version off Awakenings web site home page, that then modifies those base files, that were uploaded from the disks, to accommodate this servers format.

There will be no "key" code needed. Yes the original disks are still out there on ebay and such, but there is no getting around it, you need the hard disks as a data base to begin the conversion process.

Our official stance is that you need a hard disk copy. Please keep other "solutions" to PMs so they are not blasted on the forums.

Damn that really sucks. People are charging stupid amounts of money for a game that has no servers technically. I guess I can't play

do you not know anyone you could borrow the disks off of? You only need them for the 20 minutes it takes to install it.
