FRS XP Rank Cap (Re-Implementation) and Upcoming Update

Hello everyone,

We would like to inform you in advance that we will be reintroducing the FRS XP rank caps, originally planned for inclusion in Publish 10. This update is expected to be deployed in approximately two to three weeks. Along with the XP caps, we will also be introducing additional ways to earn FRS through PvE encounters in the game world.

If you are currently a member of the FRS, we strongly recommend progressing your rank to avoid any potential XP loss once the cap is implemented. As the release date approaches, we will provide a more specific timeframe for the update, though it is likely to coincide with one of our regular restart windows on a Monday.

Additionally, we are aiming to introduce new boss mobs and accompanying loot as part of this update. However, please note that the details of this content, as well as the exact release schedule, are subject to change. Given that I am currently the sole developer working on this update, the timeline may be adjusted based on the time I am able to dedicate to Awakening.

We will be keeping on top of clearing rank 1 during the lead up to the patch deployment. If you find you get stuck due to rank limits, please submit a ticket. The following temporary changes are being applied with the restart on Monday March 3rd.

• Rank 1 member cap increased from 10 to 20.
• Reduction in rank maintenance by 20%, to 40 per rank (currently 50).
• Dark FRS voting penalty reduced from a base of 100 to 60 (this increases exponentially).

While this patch will make it a bit easier to maintain and get FRS in the world, it still won't be a quick and easy substitute for PvP's gains. If you want to rise decently high in the ranks and be able to maintain without a need for spending hours doing so, it's probably not going to happen on PvE alone. As much as most don't like to PvP, to be competitive in the FRS system and rise somewhat quickly, you will still need to engage in PvP.

As it currently stands, we are intending for 4 new bosses to come in which will all award FRS XP. We also have added FRS XP in varying amounts to 9 additional creatures (mainly focusing on Lok and Tatooine) and some more vanilla "bosses", along with some upped FRS XP off of a couple of existing faction aligned dynamic spawning Jedi NPCs.

Incoming Patch Tentative Date

At this stage we are intending for the upcoming patch to be ready for deployment alongside the scheduled restart on Monday 24th of March. This as always is subject to change based on my availability to get it completed in time. Please note, depending on what time I work on the day of the 24th, I may have to do another ad hoc restart in order to deploy the patch if I am not available around the usual restart window.
