On Saturday 18th August at 10pm BST we will be hosting a pvp/pve event called War games this is the idea that Turin had and brought to me so thank you Turin.
It will take place on lok and here is the break down of how it will work:
The event is split into 3 rounds and it will be rebels vs imperials, everyone will be special forces throughout this event, we do want both sides to try and sort their teams prior to the event by communicating so both sides have even numbers. If one side has more than the other on the day we will ask people to change sides beforehand, if people refuse we will determine who will not participate randomly to get even teams so i ask that you communicate prior to the event.
Round 1: Base Clearance Race
(Dependent on the number of participants)There will be a number of bases positioned in an area with a range of mobs inside them, the opposing side can choose 1 player to be put in each base to slow down the opposition(once they have got out of the base that player cannot leave the base to follow them to the next one), the aim is for the factions to clear all bases in the fastest time possible. eg. Death's occurred during the run will add 30 seconds per death to that teams time.
Round 2: Pick your opponent arena 1v1 last person standing wins the battle most victories wins the Round.
Each fight will last for 5 minutes if there is not a victor in that time, armor will be removed and the fight will continue until we have a winner.
An arena will be placed with opposing sides at opposite ends, the winners of the previous round (Round 1 Base Clearance Race) will get to choose their opponents in the first battle of this round. Pick carefully though as you have to take out all the oppositions team to win the round. Once you have participated in a battle, you must wait until all participants in your team have had a go before being able to battle again. First team to clear all opposition will win the Round. E.G rebel leader picks imperial private to fight, if the rebels win they pick the next imperial opponent. If imperials win they get to pick the next rebel opponent, the winner gets to choose every fight.
Round 3: All Out Capture Heimdallr
Unfortunately the capture the flag game in the event coordinators repertoire is not working correctly, however, we have found another way to implement this on the day. Both sides will start at opposite ends of a massive arena. To start things off heimdallr will be stood in the middle of the arena, first player to get to him and hi5 him will claim him,he will then follow that player around until the opposite team can kill the player who has him to receive him for their team, the timer will start for that player and team.
The faction that holds heimdallr for the longest time in total (e.g imperials hold 4 times for a total of 35 minutes) will win.
This round will last for 1 hour
There is no jedi for this event as we want to promote some GCW pvp between other combat classes to make it a little bit more interesting.
CSR buff's will be available throughout all 3 parts, Sunkeeper will be buffing outside the rebel cloner and psion will be buffing outside of the imperial cloner, enhancement terminals will also be on hand.
There is up to 4 CSR Tokens up for grabs from dice of death games which will be determined from winning sides of each round and overall winner. Prizes will be up for grabs also throughout the event.
The event will start promptly at 10pm so ensure you are there just beforehand we will offer a way point to the location 30 minutes beforehand and the event should take approx 3 hours.
