If you already have the launcher installed it should automatically download the new version next time you open it.
Highlights
- Automatic patch retry. If a patch is blocked because a game client is still open, the launcher now holds it and starts automatically once every client is closed — no more failed patches that force you to run Verify Files manually.
- Patches resume, not restart. If a patch gets interrupted, the launcher picks up where it left off instead of re-checking every file from scratch.
- Better handling of files locked by a running client. If a patch needs a file that's in use, you'll get a clear message instead of a raw/silent error.
- Safer file updates during patching. File replacement is now done in a way that won't destroy a good existing file if an update can't complete.
- Server switching is blocked while a client is running, preventing a broken half-installed state where the new server saves but its files fail to apply.
- Network drops during patching are now detected and recovered from automatically on reconnect.
- New zoom control - replaced the old dropdown with an interactive slider/popover (with Near/Far labels).
- FPS change notice. After changing your FPS setting, the launcher now tells you to expect a delay on your next launch instead of leaving you wondering.
- Clearer messaging during deferred patches - the launcher tells you whether a patch is waiting to start or was interrupted partway, and confirms when it resumes on its own. Hitting Cancel during this wait just stops the waiting; it won't abort a patch that's already in progress.
- Improved Discord Rich Presence reliability.
- Fixed an incorrect SWG Awakening website link on the launcher's credits panel.
- Various smaller stability and setup-wizard polish fixes.
