We are excited to announce that we have recruited a new staff member to the team, this new member will be taking up the role of Event Coordinator.

We would like to congratulate Moonbeam [EC Intern] on their appointment to the role. In the next month or two Moonbeam [EC Intern] will be working to familiarise them self with the tools at their disposal so they can hopefully bring some live events back to Awakening for you all to enjoy.

Please make them feel welcome as they commence this position with us. We look forward to the exciting things they will have to offer in the future.

If you need to reset a forgotten forum account password please use the "I forgot my password" form. After this you will need to do an additional password reset via a different form in order to synchronise your forum account password and your Awakening game account password. This is due to an issue that was discovered following an update to the forum software that changed the main password reset function, it no longer synchronises the game and forum passwords. The additional password reset must be undertaken through the password reset form on the profile page, you will need to be logged into your account and use a password which is different to the one you currently have set on your account. The reset operation from that page has not been affected by the update and will properly trigger an account sync.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to any of our players.

Just a small update, some of you may have noticed the website was down earlier today for maintenance. We conducted a bit of a facelift on the website to give it a modern and appealing look in this period, we hope you like it. If you notice any functionality issues with the website while browsing, please open a ticket using the support page's instructions and detail the issue(s) so we can rectify them as soon as possible.

One of Santa's elves will handing out gifts at random intervals over the next few days. The gifts will be handed out in Coronet while he roams around. Each time the Elf is around an announcement will be sent out through the in-game broadcast system.

Just some rules to keep in mind:

• The gifts from the elf are strictly limited to ONE per account. You are not to come back with another character to get more. All gifts given out from the elf are logged via account ID, if your ID shows up more than once when I check the log, you'll end up on Santa's naughty list. You don't want that. Bad things happen on the naughty list.

• Please move away from the elf once you have received a gift to make it easier to distribute presents.

• No PvP around the elf, all should be welcome without the fear of conflict this festive season.
